Logan is a 3 year old boy diagnosed with Autism who is approved for a service dog through 4 Paws for Ability. Logan has extreme sensory difficulties, wandering tendencies, and is nonverbal. His service dog will allow him the opportunity to join his community and feel secure in social settings, while also allowing him to work through his sensory meltdowns. Having a service dog also means safety- and will assist Logan in avoiding those wandering tendencies. Logan is a loving, happy boy who has made such great strides in therapy, and with the funds raised will allow him the service dog he so greatly needs.
It costs at least $40,000 to specially train a dog for Logan. Families cover only a portion of that cost, a fee of $17,000. We are fundraising to help cover the fee required to provide Logan with a life-changing service dog.
